My mission in starting this blog is to create a positive, but also honest outlet for my journey in dealing with my brain tumor. I created this site after my diagnosis, but prior to my surgery to remove the unwanted guest in my head.
I wanted to document the many stages of dealing with this hardship in hopes that it may be able to help others who may be facing something similar, or who may be able to use what helped me in their own struggles.
As I progress past what I hope to be a successful surgery and recovery, I ultimately want to keep this blog running and relevant with new entries for my son. Although he is too young to get it now, I want him to know that life is never “perfect” and that we need to bounce back stronger from hardships, and use them to grow. If I should gain a few followers along the way, I hope they will also get something worth while from my journey and ongoing musings.
